12-step purchase process

The SAMCON team will support you throughout the entire process that will make you a new owner and will ensure you are a satisfied client who is happy to have chosen one of our homes. Here are the main steps which will constitute your SAMCON experience.

Step 1 : THE VISIT
Our professional advisor will show you our model units and will introduce the various models available. He/she will also answer all your questions to help you make an informed decision.

Step 2 : YOUR CONDO SELECTION
Once you've made your choice, you will fill out a preliminary contract with our professional advisor. This document will reserve your unit until the time of the official signing of the sales agreement at the notary's office.

Step 3 : CONTRACT ACCEPTANCE
Our professional advisor will supply you with a copy of the preliminary contract accepted by Samcon as well as all other documents pertaining to the project and the unit you selected (floor plans, architectural specifications, etc).

Step 4 : MORTGAGE APPROVAL
Pursuant to meeting a mortgage representative from a financial institution, you will then supply our professional advisor with a copy of your mortgage approval.

Step 5 : SAMCON DESIGN CENTER
One of our Samcon Design Center advisors will contact you and set up an appointment with you in order to select colours and finishings for your new condominium. Our specialist will guide you through the various choices. This Samcon service is entirely free.

Step 6 : PLANNING YOUR NOTARY SIGNING AND PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION OF THE CONDO
While you peruse your choices at our Design Center, we will take this opportunity to plan for your pre-delivery inspection as well as the signing date at the notary's office. As well, you will be asked to fill out a document that will be forwarded to the notary in order to supply all the information pertaining to official documents with respect to the purchase of your condo (sales agreement and mortgage deed). You will then be asked to contact your mortgage supplier in order to provide the notary with information required to finalize the purchase of your condo.

Step 7 : CONFIRMATION OF YOUR CONDO'S PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION
A few weeks before your condo is to be handed over, you will receive an email document specifying the steps pertaining to taking possession of your condo as well as a few guidelines about your unit's pre-delivery inspection.

Step 8 : CONFIRMATION OF SIGNATURE AT THE NOTARY'S OFFICE
A few days before your meeting with the notary for final signatures, the notary will call you and confirm the meeting date.

Step 9 : PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION OF YOUR CONDO
Together we will perform the final inspection of your condo and explain the various characteristics. At the same time we will also supply you all pertinent information in order for you to experience a worry-free move.

Step 10 : SIGNATURE AT THE NOTARY'S OFFICE
While meeting with the notary, you will then sign the sales agreement as well as the loan document pertaining to your condo. At that time, we will give you a copy of the declaration of co-ownership as well as the keys to your unit. Congratulations! You are now officially the owner of your condo.

Step 11 : FOLLOW-UP AFTER DELIVERY
A few days after you take possession of your condo, you will receive an email explaining the guidelines you should follow in the event a service is required. Rest assured that our customer service experts will be more than happy to answer all your questions by email or by phone, in order to ensure your utmost satisfaction.

Step 12 : THE 5-YEAR APCHQ WARRANTY AND SAMCON'S 2-YEAR WARRANTY
In addition to the APCHQ warranty which protects your unit for a period of 1 to 5 years*, Samcon offers you a 2-year* warranty which covers all components, pertaining to your condo at no extra cost. Samcon is the only builder offering this warranty, which adds an extra year to the conventional warranty offered throughout the construction industry.
